Ward Manx Young - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Colmar, Pennsylvania

This is Ward!

Ward is a special breed of cat called a Manx.

Believe it or not, he was found as a stray in a local neighborhood. Manx are born without tails. Ward got lucky when someone took him home and called Stray Cat Blues. Approximately 2 years old, he is a confident cat, meaning he gets along with EVERYONE. He is very loving, purrs when pet and is calm.

Ward in neutered, microchipped, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV, but positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus).

Although he tested positive for FIV, Ward can live a long and happy life. It just means his immune system may be a bit compromised. You should check out this great video about FIV: /watch?v=Px9JgG_e8go (FIV+ Cats = Positively Adoptable!)

Additional information can be found on the Stray Cat Blues website -
Our volunteers would be happy to talk with you about FIV.

FIV cannot be spread to humans or non-cat pets. FIV+ cats can live with non-FIV cats.

FIV is only spread through deep scratches or bite wounds.

Please adopt Ward!
