Iris Domestic Medium Hair Young - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Colmar, Pennsylvania

Hi, my name is Iris and I would love to be your lap kitty! I was found living outside in Franconia Township. At first I was thought to be feral, but it turns out that I am a sweet, friendly, beautiful medium-hair, young female cat who loves attention.

I love dry food. Ill eat a little bit of wet food but primarily prefer dry food.

Although I tested positive for FIV, I can live a long and happy life. It just means my immune system may be a bit compromised. You should check out this great video about FIV: /watch?v=Px9JgG_e8go (FIV+ Cats = Positively Adoptable!)

I have a hazy right eye, most likely due to a past infection, but that hasnt slowed me down in wanting affection. I love to be petted and sit on your lap as I purr happily.

I have been in a room by myself so Im not sure how I would be with other cats or dogs. Id probably be best as an only cat.

Will you be the special someone to give me a forever home?

Iris could make a good indoor/outdoor cat if the outdoor space were safe. She is spayed, litterbox trained, microchipped, and approximately one year old. She will need her distemper booster shot and second round of dewormer between March 25-31. We can arrange to give her those and schedule for you to take her home right after that! She can also be retested for FIV in 2-3 months in case it was a false positive.
