Becca came to us a tiny kitten from a shelter intake.
She was the only survivor of her family so we pulled this determined little
kitten
named
Marty and helped her survive.
We soon discovered that
Marty
was
a
Girl
and changed her name to
Becca.
Becca had a survival
instinct about her
and would scream at the
top of her
lungs when
she was still being bottle
fed and
couldn't
eat on her
own.
She wanted to
make
sure she didn't miss a feeding and
there was no sleeping through
that
noise.
Becca grew into a
petite young
lady and was just about
ready to be adopted when another
foster
brought in a
case of
undetected
ringworm
so Becca
was
quarantined
and
treated
for
8
weeks
even though she
only
picked up
one small
spot of it.
Becca was given a clean bill
of
health and was finally
ready to find her
forever
home.
She
was adopted out only to be brought
back in
30
days.
Becca went as an
only
kitty
and no real windows
available
to her
to watch the
world
through.
She is
also
extremely
intelligent
and
needs
some
stimulation
to keep her
busy.
Becca
became
bored since her
human had to work each day and Becca
didn't have a buddy
so she
created her
own
entertainment
-
emptying
cupboards and
drawers,
dragging
cords
around
and
running
speed races
with her
owner
who
was actually
looking
for a
lap
kitty.
Becca is
very
loving and
wants to be
where you
are,
just
not on your
lap.
She is
happy stretching
out beside you
or on her
pliiows on the
same
couch.
She
loves to be
petted and
loved,
but
not carried
around on an
ongoing
basis.
She
will
do better if she has a companion
and she
gets along
with
others as long as they are
friendly.
She
loves and
needs
windows and a space to call her
own in front of the
window
and lastly
SOFT BLANKETS
-
I will
send you
off with
some of
her
favorites.
Becca is
very funny and
loving
and just wants to be loved and
feel
safe.
She
has the
biggest
black
eyes we have
ever
seen and
we
first thought she
might
be
blind but that
wasn't
the
case at all.
Becca is
up to date on her
vaccines
until
September
2018,
litterbox
savvy,
tested negative
for
FIV and FeLV
and is
Microchipped.
Becca
is
shown at
the
PetSmart in
Collegeville if you
call
for
a
" Meet and Greet."
She doesn't
stay
there
full time
as
she
has too much energy and
nowhere to really
run.
